This Privacy Policy explains how GoVisually ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the GoVisually AI label-compliance tool (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Documents you upload — label artwork, PDFs, and images you submit for analysis.
- Contact details — your email address and (optionally) company name when you request a report.
- Usage & technical data — IP address, approximate location, scan metadata, and timestamps, used for rate limiting, security, and analytics.
How we use it
- To run the compliance analysis and generate your report.
- To email you your report and occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Third-party services
We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service — for example Google (Gemini AI) for document analysis, our database provider for storage, and an email provider for transactional email. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
Scan results are retained for a limited period (currently 7 days) and then expire. Uploaded documents are processed transiently and are not retained beyond what is needed to produce your report. Lead contact details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
